The CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Information Act -https://www.cpsc.gov/Regulations-Laws--Standards/Statutes/The-Consumer-Product-Safety-Improvement-Act ) requires that we mark our product with a tracking code. With our pens, this is a very small set of five numbers at the bottom of the barrel, as close to the pen cap as possible, to minimize their impact. The tracking code cannot be left off.
